Position Title: Dental Hygienist

Loccation: Alpharetta, GA

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to work alongside dentists and provide a high level of oral health care to patients. This role requires a balance of clinical expertise, patient education, and excellent customer service skills in a team-based environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide oral hygiene treatment and patient education in accordance with state guidelines and regulations

• Apply fluoride and protective sealants

• Remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line

• Provide nutritional counseling and preventive self-care programs

• Record and review patient medical histories

• Uphold HIPAA and OSHA compliance

• Contribute to team efforts and assist with office operations as needed

• Order and manage inventory supplies

• Perform other duties as assigned

Work Environment:

• Medical/clinical setting with standard equipment such as computers, x-rays, and phones

• Well-lit, sterile environment requiring gloves, masks, protective eyewear, and clothing

• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and physical risks; OSHA training required

Physical Demands:

• Frequent talking, listening, standing/sitting for long periods, walking, and handling instruments

• Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds

• Regular exposure to clinical risks inherent in dental environments

Skills Required:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Dental Hygienist

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experience with GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) preferred

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program

Certifications:

• Current State Dental Hygiene License

• CPR Certification
