Hellas, Inc., the #1 Sports Construction company in North America , is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Jr. Accountant – Manufacturing to join our manufacturing accounting team. This role supports financial operations across multiple manufacturing divisions, with a strong focus on inventory tracking and accounts payable. You’ll partner closely with internal teams to ensure accurate, timely financial data that supports operational efficiency and sound business decisions. This is an on-site role at the Chatsworth or Dalton manufacturing location.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily and weekly inventory tracking, including cycle counts, reconciliations, variance review, and accurate ERP entries.
• Support accounts payable by reviewing invoices, matching purchase orders and packing slips, and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare documentation for month-end close activities related to inventory, AP, and accruals.
• Partner with production, warehouse, and procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions.
• Review vendor statements and assist with resolving invoice or payment issues.
• Maintain organized accounting files and support audits, reports, and special projects as needed.
• Follow internal controls, accounting procedures, and company policies to ensure compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience; manufacturing or internship experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, inventory concepts, and accounts payable processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Experience

• Accounts payable workflows in a manufacturing or ERP environment.
• Inventory management, cycle counting, or production-related accounting exposure.
