JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology training services for Hall County Courts. The incumbent develops structured training programs, user-focused documentation, and standardized technology practices to support effective use of Microsoft Office 365 and other court-supported software. This position works collaboratively with court departments and Court Information Systems staff to improve technology proficiency, promote consistent workflows, and support user readiness for new and emerging systems. This position is instructional and advisory in nature.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, organizes, and delivers technology training programs for court personnel, including departmentlevel, group, and individual instruction.
Provides training on Microsoft Office 365 applications, including OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook,
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, and Bookings.
Conducts in-person and virtual training sessions based on operational needs and varying user skill levels.
Provides individualized coaching and follow-up assistance to reinforce training objectives and improve
user proficiency.
Demonstrates the ability to learn new software systems quickly and effectively teach their use to others.
Assists with training on additional court-approved applications, including Adobe Acrobat Pro (eSign), RingCentral, and other current or future software as assigned.
Develops and maintains a centralized documentation library for court technology systems, including
standard operating procedures and training materials.
Ensures training materials and documentation are accurate, clearly written, version-controlled, and
consistent across court departments.
Reviews departmental technology usage and workflows to identify opportunities for improved efficiency,
consistency, and standardization.
Recommends standardized practices for file storage, document sharing, Microsoft Teams usage,
calendaring, and collaboration.
Serves as a training and user-readiness resource during the implementation of new software systems or
significant system updates.
Coordinates with department heads, administrators, and Court Information Systems staff to assess training
needs and schedule training activities.
Communicates training opportunities, system updates, and instructional resources to court personnel.
Maintains records of training activities, including attendance, subject matter, and feedback.
Tracks training metrics, adoption rates, and proficiency improvements and prepares reports for leadership
as required.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred in a field related to information technology or instructional design; supplemented by three (3) to five (5) years of experience in technology training, instructional support, digital adoption, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for the job. Experience in a government, legal, or regulated environment is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications (Preferred)
• CompTIA CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer)
• Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) or equivalent
• Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)
• Association for Talent Development certifications
• Prosci Change Management certification
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

proficiency.
• Assess training needs and adapt instruction accordingly.
• Work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records, confidentiality, and professional discretion.
ADA MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Physical Ability
Essential functions of this position continuously require the ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or
standing); operate a computer and other office equipment; concentrate; communicate effectively; remember details;
make decisions; and meet deadlines.
Essential functions frequently require movement within the office and the ability to move or transport items
weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. Essential functions occasionally require bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive
motions.
Sensory Requirements
Essential functions require the ability to use effective verbal and written communication; visual acuity for reading
documents and computer screens; and hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills to operate office equipment.
Environmental Factors
Essential functions of this position are performed in an office environment and require the ability to work both
independently and collaboratively with others
