Responsibilities
- Work under the guidance of the Irrigation Manager, receiving training to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Diagnose and resolve irrigation system issues, applying creative problem-solving skills to overcome challenges.
- Complete and submit work orders accurately to the Irrigation Manager.
- Perform repairs, audits, and installations of irrigation systems, working independently or with the irrigation team as needed.
- Ensure all work meets job specifications, quality, and safety standards, and that daily hours are billable.
- Collaborate with management to address specific problems and develop effective solutions.
- Inspect and maintain equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Respond promptly to client requests and assist in resolving concerns in coordination with the Irrigation Manager.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain clearance for Fort Eisenhower Air Force Base.
- Physical ability to work outdoors for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 pounds (or up to 100 pounds with assistance).
- Experience with irrigation systems and repairs preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
Compensation
Pay range: $21–$25 per hour , depending on experience.
