As a Plumber, you’ll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services – uninterrupted. Based at the Atlanta Airport, you’ll be focused on the Plumbing trades and is responsible to install, maintain, and repair pipe systems, fittings, fixtures, and systems related to water, natural gas, air, sewage, and industrial waste systems related to the full range of plumbing duties.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection and maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Determine the type, size and amount of material required to perform a task while considering factors as volume, pressure, temperature and type pipe used.
- Lay out, construct, install, rebuild, maintain, repair and test plumbing systems such as water, drains and fire sprinkler systems, etc.
- Perform work in other classifications when incidental but necessary to accomplish work assignments.
- Work in conformance with proper codes, ordinances, sketches, specifications, blueprints, written and verbal instructions.
- Perform minor insulation with prefabricated mineral insulating material, binding, plastic, cement, etc., as required.
- Perform routine plumbing, such as diagnosing, testing and repairing all types of plumbing lines and fixtures.
- Diagnose and repair major plumbing breakdowns, which do not respond to routine maintenance.
- May operate gas welding equipment to perform cutting, burning, and soldering, as necessary, to accomplish work assignment.
- Maintain certification and/or licenses required by State or local authorities.
- Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Here's what you'll need
- 4 years’ experience in the plumbing trade
- Possess a valid driver’s license with ability to be covered by Jacobs’ insurance carrier
- Must be US Citizen
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Associates Degree or 2 years of formal technical training, or equivalent experience
- Journeyman License
- 5 years Facilities Plumbing experience
- Able to handle multiple tasks and have a thorough working knowledge of plumbing codes / practices
- Have a thorough knowledge of rest room plumbing systems; toilet valves; and sanitary sewer, storm sewer, domestic water, steam, and condensate systems
- Have the ability to comprehend written and oral instructions
- Willing to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays as required

The base salary range for this position is $41,200.00 to $58,850.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
