Position Summary / Purpose

To guide a Team to respond promptly to customer losses and set their minds at ease while mitigating water damage and dealing with Fire, Mold and Contents claims and to satisfy customer expectations and program requirements through excellent training of the Team and improving on internal processes.

Full Job Description

Qualifications:

• Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills

• Strong communication and skills

• Self-motivated, responsible, accountable and results-driven

• Can take on an existing mitigation department and support growth

• Has experience managing small to medium sized restoration crews

• Can scope and estimate with Xactimate for water, mold, and fire losses

Responsibilities:

• The Mitigation Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycles for the mitigation department

• This role will provide direction and coordination of all field activities related to the technicians, trade partners, estimating the loss and managing the lifecycle of the job

• The Mitigation Manager will also be responsible managing and growing the mitigation department out of the Savannah office

• Ability to manage and build high performing teams

• Review job profitably and analyze financial reports pertaining to the mitigation department

• Ability to estimate residential and commercial water, fire, and mold mitigation projects, selling services to the customer

• Either complete or review Xactimate estimates to capture appropriate revenue and ensure goals are met
• Communicate and negotiate with insurance professionals

• Provide rationale to adjusters and reviewers regarding work required and necessary charges
• Respond to property damage emergency calls

• Monitor project progress and address concerns that arise
• Ability to communicate with a variety of customers

• Complete any necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilize moisture mapping software

• Plan, organize and manage crews and subcontractors

• Establish and maintain client relationships

• Attend all appropriate company meetings

• Participate in on call rotation
