Location: Alpharetta, GA
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join a growing manufacturing operation in Alpharetta, GA. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence by identifying process improvements, reducing waste, increasing productivity, and enhancing product quality. The ideal candidate is passionate about Lean manufacturing, data-driven decision-making, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and operations teams to improve workflow and operational performance.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive actions.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops on continuous improvement principles and best practices.
• Prepare reports and presentations for leadership outlining project progress and measurable results.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Support cross-functional projects that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• MUST HAVE experience in the millwork industry. Candidates without millwork manufacturing experience will not be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of continuous improvement, process optimization, or operational excellence experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven experience improving manufacturing processes, reducing waste, and increasing operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) certification.
• Experience with process mapping software.
• Advanced statistical analysis and root cause analysis.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.
