AP Analyst

Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst to join their team in Georgia. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting a high-volume AP environment, with a strong focus on invoice processing, vendor statement reconciliations, and exception management. This position requires a proactive problem-solver who can work independently, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable activities from invoice receipt through payment processing.
• Investigate and resolve AP exceptions, including invoice, receipt, pricing, quantity, and vendor account discrepancies.
• Research issues that fall outside automated workflows and drive resolutions independently by partnering with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding balances, discrepancies, credits, and unapplied payments.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment and reconciliation issues.
• Maintain accurate AP records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end, year-end, and audit support activities.
• Review AP transactions for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines during peak volume periods.
• Escalate issues appropriately while demonstrating initiative in researching and resolving problems independently.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with vendor reconciliations and AP exception resolution, including invoice, PO, receipt, pricing, payment, and vendor discrepancies.
• Experience working within large ERP systems required.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills required.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Monday - Friday

Benefits

Max Pay: $27 per hour
Min Pay: $25 per hour
