About the Role:
We are looking for a Medical Director to oversee clinical operations, provide guidance to our medical team, and ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care. This role is ideal for both newer MDs/DOs seeking career growth and for experienced physicians considering a meaningful position with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the delegating/supervising physician for mid-level providers per Georgia medical board requirements.
• Review and sign off on patient charts as needed to ensure appropriate documentation and care delivery.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining clinical policies, standing orders, and protocols.
• Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to our providers to ensure quality and safety.
• Collaborate with clinic leadership to improve patient outcomes and support regulatory compliance.
• Remain accessible for consults with providers and administrative leadership during clinic hours.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance reviews as required.

Qualifications:

• Licensed MD or DO with board certification in the state of Georgia.
• Experience in delegating physician responsibilities (preferred but not required).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for patient care.
• Open to both newer MDs or DOs and those looking for flexible hours.

Georgia Specific Requirements:

• Delegation Agreement: Enter into a nurse protocol agreement with NPs and PAs, outlining delegated medical acts and responsibilities.
• Patient Record Review: Review and sign at least 10% of NPs and PAs patient records to monitor quality of care.
• Annual Observations: Conduct periodic onsite visits with each NP's and PA’s to ensure compliance with clinical standards.
• Consultation Availability: Be available for consultations with NPs and PAs.
