Seven Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled RN specializing in the Emergency Department for a travel assignment in Macon, Georgia. This role requires you to provide expert care in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma environment with a wide range of patient types, utilizing state-of-the-art technology.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Emergency Department (ED)

• Deliver highly competent nursing care to patients in a Level 1 Trauma center
• Administer IV drips such as Heparin, Insulin, and Cardene among others
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs, charge nurses, and intensivists
• Complete patient assessments and monitor vital signs using EPIC EMR system
• Manage emergency room flow and prioritize care for a diverse range of diagnoses

Requirements of the RN - Emergency Department (ED)

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience
• Passing an EKG competency exam as part of compliance
