Duties

Core Duties

• Curriculum & Instruction : Deliver a state approved scripted curriculum that teaches children foundational skills while fostering curiosity & problem-solving
• Child Supervision : Maintain constant supervision and ensure the safety & well-being of every child throughout the day
• Daily Care : Support children's daily routines by assisting with hygiene, meals and rest ties promoting independence and self-help skills
• Behavior Management : Encourage positive behaviors, model kindness & respect, guide children in managing emotions & social interactions
• Assessment & Documentation : Observe and record each child's development and progress, communicating any concerns & updates to administration and parents
• Parent Communication: Build professional relationship with parents
• Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to support a team-centered, nurturing & creative learning environment
• Classroom Environment: Create and maintain a clean, safe, & inviting classroom where children feel welcomed and inspired to learn

Requirements

• Pass the criminal records screening
• Current CDA
• Commitment to a Monday-Friday schedule- Full-time
• Meet all state requirements for Lead Teachers
• Ongoing professional development each year
• Current CPR and Fire Safety certifications
• Minimum age 21 years with high school diploma or equivalent
