- Oversee landscape construction projects from start to finish.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Communicate project updates and progress reports to clients and management.
- Interpret landscape plans and blueprints accurately.
- Make necessary adjustments to plans based on site conditions and client requirements.
- Supervise and lead teams of landscape crews.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure productivity.
- Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols.
- Order materials and supplies required for each project.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure adequate stock protocols.
- Inspect materials for quality and compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct site evaluations and assessments.
- Perform grading and site preparation as needed.
- Ensure proper drainage and erosion control measures are implemented.
- Install and maintain plantings according to industry standards.
- Design and install irrigation systems.
- Develop project schedules and assign to landscape crews.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to meet project deadlines.
- Keep track of inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.
- Previous experience in landscape construction.
- Proficiency reading landscape plans.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of grading techniques and site preparation.
- Familiarity with a variety of plant species and irrigation systems.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and machinery.
- Excellent organization and time management abilities.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Bi-bilingual in Spanish a plus.
