Our law firm is looking for an attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base in criminal and estate matters. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm’s clients, administrative staff, and founding attorney. Compensation:$75,000 - $95,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Preside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects
- Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
- Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
- Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
- Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks
- Over 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm
- Jobseekers should be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Association
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
- Able to work independently while handling multiple files
- Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
- Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- 0-4 years of litigation experience
