We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our small clinic team, specializing in the care of small animals and pets. This role involves delivering comprehensive veterinary services including diagnosis, treatment, surgery, and preventive care during standard business hours. The ideal candidate will contribute to client education and community outreach, emphasizing animal welfare and client communication.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat illnesses in small animals
- Develop and execute treatment plans and surgical procedures
- Consult with clients regarding animal health and care
- Provide emergency care as needed during clinic hours
- Administer medications and vaccinations
- Promote preventive care and monitor animal welfare
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in moderate client education and community outreach
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in veterinary medicine
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Valid veterinary license
- Expertise in veterinary surgery and animal diagnostics
- Knowledge of pharmacology and patient care
- Strong client communication and emergency response skills
- Proficient in record management and problem solving
