Location: Savannah, GA

Salary:  $33 + per hour- commensurate with experience

About the Role:

We’re hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Service Mechanic (CDL A or B) to join our Savannah team. In this role, you’ll hit the road daily to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel-powered heavy equipment including skid steers, excavators, and loaders. This position is ideal for a skilled mechanic who enjoys independence, has a strong customer-service mindset, and is looking for a career with both mobility and higher earning potential. With your CDL license, you’ll have the flexibility to transport equipment when needed and deliver reliable service directly to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy and compact equipment
• Manage road calls independently, ensuring timely and efficient service
• Handle client-facing interactions with professionalism and strong communication
• Occasionally assist in the shop when road calls are limited

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years’ experience in a similar road technician role
• CDL Class A or B license required
• Must have heavy equipment such as Bobcat, Caterpillar, John Deere, Case, or similar-sized equipment.
• 1+ years’ heavy/compact equipment service experience (skid steers, excavators, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and manage jobs solo
• Strong customer-facing and time management skills
• Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus, but not required
