Product Support Manager
PURPOSE: This position is responsible for overseeing the product support team for the preparation of new machines for delivery and reports directly to the Vice President of Sales & Product Support.
JOB SUMMARY: The Product Support Manager will oversee the parts and service operations making the aftermarket experience with Sakai easy and profitable for dealers and end users. This includes testing, data recording and installation of options, excluding paint touch-up. Key personnel reporting to the Product Support Manager is the Service & Warranty Manager, the Technical Support Manager and the Parts Manager.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provides adequate staffing at all levels for both parts and service
- Phone calls are answered, return calls made and e-mails answered promptly
- Ample supply of spare parts maintained to provide high percentage of shelf availability
- Machines prepped as required and available to ship by promised date
- Manuals are current, available and accurate
- Parts freight expense is kept to a minimum without sacrificing service to customers
- Parts pricing is current and accurate, supplied to dealers on a regularly scheduled basis
- Some travel may be required
REQUIREMENTS
- College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in the construction or agriculture equipment industry at manufacturer or dealer level
- Personnel development, supervision and leadership
- Detailed inventory management
- Technical aptitude
- Understanding of warranty coverage and administration
- Ability to communicate both verbally and written in the English language
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Procurement and outsourcing of parts and materials
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong sense of dependability and commitment
