Travel Occupational Therapist Job
Occupational Therapist in a travel, temporary assignment focused on outpatient rehabilitation services. Based in Cumming, Georgia, this 13-week assignment begins on 04/27/2026, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is 10-hour days, four days per week. Weekly pay ranges from $1,954 to $2,063. The role is in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting that includes physical, occupational, and speech therapy, with opportunities to provide specialized therapies as part of a coordinated care plan. - Setting: outpatient rehabilitation services in a multidisciplinary outpatient department Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for outpatient clients
- Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address upper-extremity function, ADLs, and functional mobility
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (PT and SLP) to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes
- Document patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and ensure timely and accurate charting
- Provide specialty OT services such as lymphedema therapy, wound care, and, when applicable, vestibular and aquatic therapy
- Support participation in MBS and FEES studies and other related assessments as part of the rehab team
- Ensure patient and staff safety, adhere to infection control protocols, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and AHA BLS guidelines Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience, preferably in outpatient settings
- AHA BLS certification required
- Lymphedema certification required
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary outpatient environment
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment and adapt to department needs Benefits and Support
