The Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to oversee and develop our sales team. This role combines leadership with accountability, focusing on coaching, goal-setting, and performance management. While primarily a management position, the Sales Manager should be able to step in and close deals when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of telephone-based sales agents.

• Establish sales goals, monitor performance, and ensure accountability.

• Provide coaching, feedback, and structured guidance to improve results.

• Manage hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and terminations as needed.

• Collaborate with the Admin (dispatch) and Customer Care teams to ensure smooth operations and positive customer experiences.

• Handle escalated customer situations and resolve issues professionally.

• Develop or adapt training programs to strengthen sales skills and team performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business (required).

• 5+ years of sales or sales management experience.

• Demonstrated experience in managing and developing people.

• Strong background in telephone sales (required).

• Experience in training or instructional design is a plus.

• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
