Cable Technician I (Low‑Voltage Communications)

Location: Fayetteville, GA

Pay: $20-24/hour

This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a growing Data Center team. Ideal for motivated technicians looking to build hands‑on experience in structured cabling, fiber, and data environments.

What You’ll Do

• Install and route low‑voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6 and basic fiber)
• Build out IDF/MDF closets, including racks, patch panels, and pathways
• Terminate cables, label accurately, and follow proper color codes
• Install J‑hooks, cable tray, ladder rack, and cable supports
• Assist with basic testing and quality control
• Work safely on commercial and data center projects

What We’re Looking For

• 0–2 years of low‑voltage or structured cabling experience
• Familiar with basic hand tools and construction environments
• Willing to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Fiber experience or splicing exposure
• Data center or live environment experience
• Experience with Fluke/Versiv testing

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fayetteville, GA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
