**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who is proficient with HAAS mill controls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for their own setups, tooling selections, and programming at the controls. We value self-starters who are eager to learn and grow in their craft. The role requires familiarity with reading a tape measure, calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges. **Responsibilities** + Operate and manage HAAS mill controls efficiently. + Perform setups and select appropriate tooling for machining tasks. + Program controls directly at the machine. + Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges. + Participate in a decimal/fraction quiz and Machinist quiz, with calculator usage allowed. + Work scheduled shifts from 5:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday, and Fridays as necessary. **Essential Skills** + Fluency with HAAS mill controls. + Ability to perform setups and tooling selections independently. + Proficiency in programming at the machine controls. + Strong skills in reading and interpreting measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Manual machining experience is a significant advantage. + Tooling experience is beneficial but not required. + CNC experience is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a climate-controlled environment with great benefits and abundant opportunities for growth. **Work Environment** The work environment is climate-controlled to ensure comfort while working. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Catoosa, OK. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
