Sr Specialist - Management & Operations Expertise Hub
Essential Duties***Product and Services Development, Delivery, and Evaluation (60%): - Lead and/or contribute to the review, refresh, development, design, testing, delivery, and evaluation of quality, relevant, and timely content, products, and services (e.g., templates, toolkits, websites, webinars, peer learning and connection experiences, trainings, and other innovative learning approaches) aligned with hub topic areas for affiliate capability/capacity building and organizational/departmental standards and processes- Collaborate across applicable HFHI departments, including affiliate learning consultants, external subject matter experts, and the affiliated network to ensure that resource content and support aligns with best practices, mission, values, and guiding principles.- Design, coordinate, and facilitate Communities of Practice, Peer Connection Chats, and other training experiences for the affiliate network, applying strong project management practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement.- Stay informed on nonprofit management and operations trends, risks, and opportunities (e.g. topics such as governance and board management, finance, human resources, information technology, administration, compliance and risk management, and other day-to-day operational topics) to ensure content, resources, and services are relevant, timely, and impactful for the US affiliate network.- Support other key initiatives, as directed, through project management, stakeholder engagement, subject matter expertise, and effective use of data and content curation tools.***Network Outreach, Engagement, Relationship Building, and General/SME Support (40%)- Provide high-quality service and support to the affiliate network, answering inquiries, identifying needs, and creating opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and community building.- Collaborate on marketing, communications, knowledge management, and outreach efforts to elevate the hub as a go-to resource for affiliate leaders, including leveraging and supporting MyHabitat, Viva Engage communities, regional and Affiliate Support Organization events and offerings, Affiliate Support Center inquiries, practitioner cohorts, and other opportunities for building awareness, usage, and satisfaction through subject matter expertise- Foster engagement (in Viva Engage communities and other innovative approaches) by identifying common needs, sparking conversations with and among affiliates, aggregating promising practices from the field, and integrating insights into content and services.

Minimum Requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Years of Related Experience
• 3-5 years industry experience (various aspects of nonprofit management or operations)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Strong understanding of business management and operations, including board governance, financial management, and risk prevention, particularly within non-profit organizations - Proficient

• Experience coordinating and facilitating training sessions, webinars, and group/team meetings. - Proficient

Work Setting
• Remote/home office (may work in-person or hybrid if desired and near an HFHI office and space is available)
Travel Expectations
Domestic: 20%Preferred Requirements
• Experience with Habitat for Humanity, other federated nonprofit organizations, or membership organizations
• Experience presenting or leading trainings (virtual and in-person)
• Project management experience
• Understanding of the HFH mission

HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that varies by country and typically includes vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, health insurance options, retirement plan contributions and life insurance. For work locations in the US, the hiring range for this position is $59,590 to $70,100.Staff hired on a hybrid basis in the United States near Atlanta, Georgia / Washington, DC and Americus, GA), are required to report to the office on Tuesdays.
