TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Albany, Georgia, 31701!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS Certification, NIHSS Must-Have: C-Section experience required Flexibility with changing assignments during the shift Description: The nurse will work strictly within a 75-mile radius rule. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience and one travel assignment, or 4 years of experience without travel. An interview will take place with a designated RN. The interview results will be confirmed within 20 minutes. No second interview will be conducted. The medical-surgical unit requires nurses to be prepared for various patient populations. The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6. Nurse aides will generally be assigned at a ratio of 1:8 to 1:10. Staff may need to provide 1:1 patient assistance when necessary. The hospital offers 24/7 pharmacy services. Telemonitoring is available in different units. Patients may require BIPAP, CPAP, and vapotherm support. An OB/Neonatologist is available in-house. The nurse may need to float to various departments as needed. Common diagnoses include a variety of medical, surgical, and post-operative patients. About Cynet Health
