We are a local trucking company seeking an experienced, reliable, 26ft Box truck OTR drivers. No CDL is required for the Box Truck driving position, but a plus if you have one.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Driver must be willing to go OTR
- Clean driving history and current MVR
- Clean Background
- Current DOT med card
- Minimum of two years driving box trucks (26ft or similar)
- Reliable and on time
- Knowledge of GPS/ELD/Logbooks
- Must have a smartphone and ability to operate it
- Clear communication (will need to relay info to dispatcher and/or management in timely manner)
- Flexible hours (including weekends and holidays), although we strive to work with our drivers as much as possible to provide some life balance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good knowledge of DOT regulations
- Good driving behavior and previously passed inspections
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to problem-solve on the go
- Good time management skills and a self-starter
- Strong work ethic and a Can do attitude

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Conduct a pre-trip and post trip inspection of the truck
- Operate a box truck in a safe, and Efficient manner
- Plan efficient routes to deliver goods on time
- Transport goods to and from various locations as booked
- Load and unload freight/cargo if needed
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle and its equipment
- Maintain accurate logbooks/ELD Logs
- Be very organized, and have a great time management skill
- Always maintain the truck in a clean and sanitary condition at all times.
- Respond to vehicle maintenance needs promptly and performed
minor repairs when needed
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, Knowledge of cell phone/GPS/ELD/Logbooks and maintain ELD Logs
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with dispatchers, customers and colleagues to coordinate deliveries
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation.
