Department: HUMAN RESOURCES
Schedule: Full Time, 8 HR Day Shift,
Position Summary
Responsible for managing the leaves of absence process for employees to include but not limited to Family Medical Leave, military leave, paid and unpaid leaves and. Acts as a liaison between employees, employee health, management, and or physicians to effectively manage employees leave durations and return to work accommodation requests. This role will function as a subject matter expert and will research regulations and policies and communicate impact analysis, recommendations, and necessary requirements.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Human Resources required. o Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. o Knowledge of Human Resources policy, regulations, and administration procedures o Demonstrated attention to detail organizational, analytical, and project management skills o Attention to detail and strong organizational and work prioritization skills o Ability to implement and follow processes and provide recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies o Excellent written/verbal communication skills o Ability to display empathy and build trusting relationships at all levels o Proficient in Microsoft Excel
WORKING CONDITIONS - ADA INFORMATION
Substantial sitting, standing, stooping, bending, lifting (not to exceed 25 lbs.) and pushing objects. At times may be subject to high levels of stress. Requires considerable mental effort and logical thought processing.
