ERP Software Developer

This position will develop and maintain enhancements to our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application IFS - supporting our corporate and manufacturing teams across North America. We are looking for an individual who is technically inclined, productive, continuously seeking to learn and eager to share their knowledge with the team. Applicants should consider themselves self-motivated, innovative, organized and flexible.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:

• Development and maintenance of our IFS environment
• Working with business leaders and analysts to understand software specifications.
• Working with software quality resources to ensure quality of delivered software.
• Research and training to keep their skills up to date with current technologies

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology or proven technology educational experience and certifications
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in information technology
• The ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to delivery, including analysis, estimating, implementation, testing, and documentation
• Experience with PL/SQL Developer or SQL Developer
• Experience with Oracle SQL and database analysis
• Experience with an advanced scripting and development languages (e.g. Javascript)
• Experience with IFS or other ERP solutions
• Experience with agile software development methodologies like scrum and tools like Azure DevOps
• Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycles
• Experience in Power BI or similar reporting platforms
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the manufacturing and engineering industry is an asset
