Electrical Panel Assembler
Job Description
The Wiring Assembler will interpret electrical schematics to assemble and wire electrical power systems such as switchgears and panels. Candidates will utilize various hand tools relevant to sub-pan and systems assemblies in a production facility, performing repetitive tasks to meet production volume. The role involves learning to wire a panel based on a schematic and repeating this procedure.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow electrical schematics for assembly and wiring tasks.
- Perform sub-panel layouts, drill, and tap holes with minimal supervision.
- Wire sub-pans, door devices, and other power equipment according to ISO standards.
- Wire using wire way, loom, and free-bundling techniques.
- Wire simple relay circuits and perform daisy chaining with minimal supervision.
- Perform mechanical assembly on switchgear/switchboard under supervision.
- Mount all pertinent equipment as part of the assembly process.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Understand and use hardware such as screws, bolts, nuts, and washers.
- Use hand tools for extended periods of time efficiently.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Experience in electrical assembly, wiring, and crimping.
- Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
- Preferred experience in electrical assembling and point-to-point wiring.
- Candidates with military backgrounds or HVAC experience are advantageous.

Work Environment
The work environment is a climate-controlled and well-maintained facility. Contractors will work at benches wiring panels and switchgears and are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing. All necessary tools are provided, and each workspace offers ample room for working efficiently. The shift involves a 4-day work week from Monday to Thursday, 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with optional overtime on Fridays from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
