Site Civil Project Manager

STV Inc., is looking for Site Civil Project Manager in the Transportation group in our Acworth, Georgia operation. This position's primary role is to process projects from notice to proceed to final project closeout including plan development, scheduling, cost estimating, specifications, and related administrative duties. Duties also include supervision and guidance as they relate largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters. Consults with the Principal Project Engineer to resolve project related issues. Our clients include federal, state, and local governments, and private developers. Projects have varied degrees of complexity and a wide range of estimated construction costs including large scale site development projects. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage site projects from planning through design and through construction
- Lead project team meetings and report up to STV executive management regarding status
- Provide guidance and oversight to technical engineering staff ranging from junior to senior level
- Work closely with other project managers and group leads to plan resources and manage internal workshare
- Assist in developing client capture plans and pursuit win plans, proposals, and other business development and client engagement activities
- Develop and enhance client relationships, serve as the primary company contact, and deliver quality projects on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client
- Manage all project aspects; scope development, qualifications and proposals, presentations, contract negotiations, design scope, budget, scheduling, staff management and coordinating work efforts, cost estimating, bidding support, construction administration, cost control, project communications and documentation, and cash management
- Administer relevant aspects of a formal quality program
- Achieve or exceed each project's estimated profit margin
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required / MS Preferred
- A PE license in GA is preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in managing and designing site development and infrastructure projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform project management responsibilities, working independently and in coordination with other team members and Project Managers
- Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple clients at varying stages of design/construction completion
Compensation Range: $120,489.00 - $160,652.00 Don't meet every single requirement?
