Kitchen Manager | Polished Causal Restaurant

NextGen Hospitality Solutions is excited to announce an opening for a Kitchen Manager at our Polished Casual Restaurant located in Buford. This full-time, on-site position is perfect for a passionate culinary professional ready to lead a dynamic kitchen team and elevate our dining experience.
As the Kitchen Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency. You'll be responsible for training and mentoring kitchen staff, managing inventory, and collaborating closely with the front-of-house team to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 annually, alongside a vibrant work culture that fosters creativity and teamwork in the restaurant industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and staff management
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards
- Develop and implement seasonal menus in collaboration with the culinary team
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control effectively
- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff performance
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and supplies
- Implement and maintain quality control standards for food preparation
Requirements
- Associate degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a kitchen management role
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of food cost management and budgeting
