Pediatrician

Salary:
$160,000–$180,000 annually + benefits, commensurate with experience.

Job Summary:
The Pediatrician provides high-quality, evidence-based medical care to pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence. This role emphasizes preventive care, growth and development monitoring, and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. The Pediatrician supports the practice’s mission of delivering accessible, compassionate, and family-centered care while building long-term relationships with patients and their families.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.

• Perform well-child visits, developmental screenings, immunizations, school and sports physicals, and preventive care services.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses, infections, minor injuries, and common pediatric conditions.

• Manage chronic conditions such as asthma and allergies using evidence-based treatment plans.

• Accommodate same-day sick visits to ensure timely and accessible care.

• Educate patients and caregivers on health maintenance, nutrition, developmental milestones, and preventive wellness.

• Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions clearly and compassionately.

• Collaborate with clinical staff and support team members to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.

• Make referrals to specialists and community resources as needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.

• Active, unrestricted medical license eligible to practice in Georgia.

• BLS and/or PALS certification preferred.

• Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, families, and clinical teams.

• Prior outpatient pediatric experience preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.

This pediatric outpatient practice is opening a new facility in Stonecrest, GA, with an anticipated opening timeframe of mid to late January. The clinic is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents, including well-child visits, immunizations, sick care, sports physicals, chronic condition management, and preventive services.

The practice operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, offering flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.
