This Senior Accountant position plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making, enhancing financial visibility, and ensuring the organization has accurate and dependable financial information to guide operations. This individual will play an important role in supporting business performance through financial analysis, reporting, and accounting operations.. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments, contribute to process enhancements, and support the financial activities that drive organizational success. Key responsibilities include:

• Review and analyze financial activity to ensure transactions are properly captured and reported.
• Support recurring financial reporting cycles, including monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables.
• Investigate account fluctuations and provide recommendations to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation used in corporate reporting.
• Assist with accounting and reporting activities related to long-term assets and contractual commitments.
• Partner with operational teams to improve financial accuracy and resolve reporting issues.
• Develop reports and financial information for internal leadership and external business needs.
• Contribute to the evaluation and enhancement of accounting processes, workflows, and controls.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives that support finance and business objectives.

The right candidate for this Senior Accountant opportunity will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in financial reporting, analysis, and general accounting functions.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Big 4 public accounting is helpful
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• History of job stability
