Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult oncology patients in the PCU, including ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Administer medications and IV therapies, monitor patient responses, and manage lab results in collaboration with the care team
- Monitor for clinical changes, respond to emergencies, and escalate when appropriate to the physician and interdisciplinary team
- Develop and update individualized nursing care plans, documentation, and patient education for symptom management and discharge planning
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, case management, and other disciplines to coordinate patient care and ensure safe transitions of care
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards, and comply with all unit policies and procedures

Requirements
- Active RN license (state not specified here) with eligibility for practice in the United States; licensure verification will be completed during hiring
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in the PCU/Intermediate care setting, with oncology exposure
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Must have PCU/Intermediate care experience and be able to work 12-hour daytime shifts (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.) with a 12x3 schedule; schedule may vary
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, specialized oncology PCU environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
