Position Overview:

The Meeting and Venue Logistics Director ensures excellence in the planning, coordination, and execution of all church events, gatherings, and venue operations. The position creates seamless, well-organized environments for worship, ministry, and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the logistics for all church events, worship services, conferences, meetings, and special events.

· Coordinates event setup, teardown, room layouts, hospitality, signage, audiovisual needs and staging.

· Maintains the master calendar of events in collaboration with ministry departments.

· Partners with the production, facilities, and operations departments to ensure readiness.

· Supervises logistics staff and volunteers.

· Serves as a point of contact for logistics.

· Manages vendor relationships and event-related contracts and services.

· Implements systems for event intake, scheduling, task delegation, and post-event evaluation.

· Ensures all venues are safe, welcoming, clean and ready at all times.

· The omission of specific duties does not exclude them if the work is similar or related. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Qualifications:

· Minimum five years' experience in event coordination, logistics management, or related field.

· Proven ability to manage teams, prioritize tasks, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

· Detail-oriented with excellent time management and follow-through.

· Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays as required by event schedules.
