As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. You will lead and develop people, processes, and systems that ensure the highest safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency You will work on comprehensive reports, provide timely responses, and be the point of contact between the various departments within the company and customers. The right candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and a tendency towards 5S in the workplace.

Your typical shift will be Tuesday - Saturday, 8:30 pm - 5:00 am.

How you create impact

Prepare all quality reports and analyze them to identify negative and positive quality trends

Make recommendations for improvements

Provide associates with in-the-moment training when opportunities for improvement present themselves

Drive a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel safe, valued, and included

Examine records such as manifests, invoices, BOLs (Bills of Lading); resolve process inefficiencies

Investigate issues concerning overdue, damaged, or shortages in shipments; provide updates to customers promptly

Participate in quality meetings and meeting minutes

Maintain Quality Management System

Other duties as assigned

What we would like you to bring

High school diploma or equivalent

3+ years of experience in a full-time quality role

2 or more years in a supervisory role in a warehousing environment

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Experience with SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Knowledgeable of ISO9001/AS9100 standards

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and/or Continuous Improvement strategies
