Software Engineer

A company focused on building advanced software and hardware-integrated systems is seeking a Software Engineer to join its team in a full-time, on-site capacity. This opportunity is well suited for an engineer who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and contributing to the design and deployment of systems that support performance, stability, and scalability.
The organization is looking for someone who can help bring software solutions from concept through production and commercial deployment, while partnering closely with cross-functional teams involved in system and hardware development.
About the Role
The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing software systems from initial requirements through production and commercial deployment. This includes designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging system software, as well as reviewing both code and design to ensure quality and performance.
This role also involves analyzing and improving system efficiency, stability, and scalability, while working closely with hardware teams to support integration across software and hardware subsystems. The position is full-time and on-site, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical field

Strong knowledge of operating system coding techniques

Strong understanding of IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems

Experience designing, developing, testing, and debugging system software

Ability to review code and system design effectively

Experience improving system performance, stability, and scalability

Ability to work collaboratively with hardware design and development teams
