River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a Custodial Worker to join our facilities/maintenance team. You will perform custodial work and general care for our main office to help provide an aesthetically pleasing and functional indoor environment.

Location/Schedule: 2016 Ingleside Avenue Macon, GA (Full time).

• 7:00am - 3:00pm - Monday - Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor tasks, such as sweeping, cleaning, dusting, and stocking supplies.
• Keep facility in clean and orderly condition.
• Remove trash from all areas.
• Sweeps, dust mops, and wet mops all floors.
• Cleaning in offices, group rooms, restrooms, etc.
• Vacuums and spot clean carpets.
• Utilizes detergents, disinfectants, polishes, finishes, etc.
• Moves furniture and equipment as required.
• Assist with meeting set-up and tear down events.
• You will be required to lift up to 25 pounds.

Job Requirements:

• Custodial workers must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees.
• Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred but not required.
• Two plus years of custodial/janitorial experience.
• Experience with hand and power tools a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
