Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of projects. Duties include billing, revenue recognition, and working with project managers to ensure all financial aspects align with project goals. The role also requires leadership in overseeing the junior accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment with financial goals
• Manage the invoicing process and ensure accurate and timely billing
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff
• Handle month-end and year-end closings, reconciliations, and reporting
• Identify areas for improvement in accounting systems and processes

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• At least 7 years of accounting experience, with 5 years in project accounting
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Oracle, Deltek)
