Manager, Client Learning Programs
Reporting to the Associate Director of Client Programs, the Manager, Client Learning Programs will lead the strategic development, implementation, and optimization of Hire Heroes USA's skills-based learning initiatives, digital credential programs, virtual event programming, and internal training systems. This role serves as the primary architect for translating military employment needs into scalable learning solutions while piloting innovative approaches to skills verification and professional development.
The Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of skills development programs—from research and competitive analysis through design, pilot implementation, and continuous optimization—ensuring that all initiatives deliver measurable value to clients and staff while aligning with organizational strategic goals. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, program management excellence, research capabilities, and hands-on execution in virtual event production and digital learning environments.
This is a full-time, remote position.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Program Development
- Develop and execute strategic plans for skills development programs and virtual event offerings, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams in designing, developing, and launching skills development initiatives from conception through full-scale implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, content creators, subject matter experts, and marketing teams, to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of learning programs and virtual event offerings.
- Develop and implement user engagement strategies to drive the adoption and usage of learning programs and virtual event offerings among target audiences, including individuals, employers, and educational institutions.
Event Operations & Client Support
- Provide support services to event hosts, presenters, and panelists, including event creation in the platform, event production, content creation, platform training and troubleshooting, speaker coordination, in-session support, recording management, and report generation.
- Perform routine quality checks of trackers, requests, and reports to ensure accurate data and client activity.
Data, Reporting & Program Improvement
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of skills development programs, and provide regular reporting to leadership.
- Conduct regular program evaluations and present findings with actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Identify opportunities for program optimization based on data analysis, client feedback, and market trends.
Personnel Management
- Provide direct supervision and leadership for assigned program staff, setting clear performance expectations and goals.
- Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one meetings to provide coaching, address challenges, and support professional development.
- Foster a team culture of continuous improvement, innovation, agility, and commitment to quality.
- Support organization events and fundraisers as needed.
- Approximate travel requirement 10%.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, while productively and collaboratively engaging others at varying levels of seniority within and outside an organization
- Ability to translate organizational mission and goals into actionable program strategies that deliver measurable impact
- Experience in event operations and client support, including administering learning management systems/webinar hosting solutions. Preferably with Zoom and Appinium
- Skilled in quality assurance, data reporting, and program improvement
- Investigative skills for troubleshooting technical issues and systematic problems
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems and decision-making.
- Ability to monitor and assess the performance of self, other individuals, and organizations to make improvements and take corrective action
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects and initiatives at one time
- Ability to compile and present public briefings to senior leaders
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite applications, specifically Word/Docs, PowerPoint/Slides, and Excel/Sheets
- Proficient with Salesforce, highly desired

- Sitting for extended periods
- Travel 10% of the time
Estimated New Hire Salary : $59,250 - $66,831 annually
