Job Summary
We are a growing equipment rental company serving contractors across the Harris County and Greater Columbus, GA region. Our team moves fast, treats people well, and keeps things simple — no corporate micromanaging, no overnight routes, no endless OTR miles.

As we continue expanding (including a new location coming soon), we are hiring a dependable CDL Class A Driver to haul equipment locally and support our day-to-day operations.

Position Summary

We are seeking a CDL Class A Lowboy Driver to transport construction and rental equipment using lowboy trailers, F-350 + heavy trailers, and similar CDL-required setups.

This is a customer-facing driving role, meaning you will interact directly with contractors, perform quick equipment walk-throughs, and represent the company professionally on job sites.

What You’ll Do

• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload rental equipment (lifts, skid steers, mini-excavators, etc.)
• Perform 2–4 minute equipment walk-throughs with customers (simple safety basics, controls, “do’s/don’ts”)
• Call customers with ETA updates
• Capture equipment photos at delivery and pickup (using an iPad-based system)
• Collect digital signatures and complete delivery tickets in the Runtera app
• Maintain professional communication using a company cell phone
• Keep equipment and truck clean, organized, and compliant
• Represent the company well on every job site
• No overnights — home daily
• Local-only routes (typically within 70 miles; occasional trips to Atlanta)

Schedule: 8:30am–5:00pm (Monday–Friday).

What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)

✔ Clean MVR (must be insurable)

✔ Current DOT medical card✔ Able to pass drug test and background check

✔ Experience hauling heavy equipment OR confidence to learn with training

✔ Comfortable using iPad/app-based systems

✔ Professional communication with customers

✔ Reliable, steady, safety-focused

✔ Fluent in English (spoken)

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience hauling equipment for: Paving companies; Civil/sitework; Tree service; and/or Equipment rental companies
• Customer-facing experience
• Mechanically inclined / comfortable understanding basic equipment functions

Compensation, Benefits & Other Details

• Pay: $40k - 50k per year (salary-based on 40 hrs/week; overtime occasionally available, but not the primary goal)
• 2 weeks of training (ride with current driver - hands-on orientation)
