Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced environment at Hyundai Mobis. The ideal candidate will work directly with Maintenance management to provide support of the Production process.

Role(s) - Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, supporting structures, and electrical systems of assembly line manufacturing operations by performing the following duties.

• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment
• Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment
• Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
• Fabricates and repairs assembly line support structures such as guards, platforms, lift devices, and related equipment
• Conduct routine PM checks and log activity
• Other tasks as assigned

Experience: 5+ years preferred

Education: Associate degree (AA/AS)

Degree Field: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering

A PLUS IF YOU HAVE:

Certified/Technical Skills:

1. Knowledge of Siemens PLC
2. Electrical Controls
3. Basic Understanding of Mechanical drawings

Additional/Other:

1. PC literate, including Microsoft Office Products
2. Motor Controls
3. Intermediate PLC Programming and Troubleshooting
