Overview The successful individual will be responsible for the analysis of production and performance data and for defining the interrelationship between key input data and output data with a goal to improve product performance and production yield. The individual will develop statistical models and trends and communicate actions to improve overall product quality. The successful individual will be responsible for enhancing data quality within the company and supporting the product development team in implementing a comprehensive, data-driven strategy. The successful individual must have a passion for statistical data analysis, working with large data sets, and experience in managing data quality standard processes. The Data Analyst will produce custom and standard reports while using the most current data analysis tools to make recommendations for process and product improvements. This role will be responsible for researching and analyzing data to help the company make informed decisions about product and process design and control. Job duties will require a variety of skills, including analytical, research, and communication skills to perform the job duties. Responsibilities- Collaborate with database developers and data engineers to improve data collection and storage processes.
- Use all data analysis tools to identify trends and patterns in product and production performance.
- Make recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis.
- Collaborate closely with other members of the engineering and manufacturing quality team to ensure that data is accurate and up to date.
- Develop and maintain reports related to product manufacturing and performance.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.
- Document processes and maintain data records.
- Assist in defining new and refining existing processes and procedures.
- Prepare and present results of analysis to customers as required.
- Additional responsibilities as needed?to support the team and company goals.
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis on statistics, mathematics, operations research, data science, or other quantitative disciplines.
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering or related roles.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in statistical analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience with experimental design (DOE), modeling, and working with real data sets to solve business problems with data analysis.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access skills, or other related software preferred.
- Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Project Management training.
- Ability and skillset to deploy machine learning models into real time production environments would be useful.
- Working knowledge of SPSS, SAS, or other statistical analysis software.
- Programming in R/ Python/ SQL; Data Visualization tools - Tableau/Microsoft Power BI
- Must be proficient with spreadsheets, database, and statistical software, including machine learning.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify and troubleshoot data issues.
- Must be able to work independently and in a collaborative environment on multiple projects.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to grasp data and business issues and interpret analytical findings from a business perspective.
- Results-oriented and driven for success.
- Strong verbal/written communication and people skills. Communicate complex data in simple, actionable ways.

- This position requires you to be on site at our Alpharetta, GA headquarters office.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods while performing desk-based tasks and occasionally stand or move around the office as needed.
- Occasional travel may be necessary to fulfill business needs and support various projects and initiatives.
