MEDICAL ASSISTANT - PEDIATRICS - 3 DAYS PER WEEK - SET SCHEDULE - MWF - ALPHARETTTA

Exceptional Recruiting is seeking a trained Pediatric Medical Assistant to join a wonderful family oriented pediatric practice in Alpharetta!

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to healthy, ill, injured or disabled pediatric patients in a fast paced clinic
• Provide well and sick care which could include vitals, taking patient histories, calling in prescriptions, obtaining prior authorizations, responding to phone and email messages, immunizations, finger sticks, blood draws, injections, vision and hearing screens, lab tests, patient/parent education, blood draws, GRITS, EKG's, setting up further testing, and medical interventions with healthy and complex patients
• Provide all patients with quality customer service and compassionate care regardless of socioeconomic and racial background
• Communicate with physicians, management, and staff members to ensure proper flow of business throughout the workday
• Proactively resolve issues and patient concerns
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with EMR
• Ability to work Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule (Could become full time at a later date)
• Experience giving pediatric immunizations required
• Strong communication skills
• Solid references, work ethic & attendance, reliability, and longevity on past positions
• Ability to work in a team oriented work environment,
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills required

Pay depends upon experience: $20.00-$25.00/hr to start
