COAM Financial Analyst

Education, Training and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Finance/Accounting related experience.
• Advance knowledge of Excel is a requisite.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of accounting, financial concepts, practices, and procedures
• Energetic, flexible, self-directed, possessing professional image and reputation.
• Sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, strong operational focus, team player
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Proven written and oral communications, interpersonal and organizational skills

Duties and Responsibilities

Under direct supervision of the VP COAM/VLT Commercial Services performs the following duties and responsibilities:

• Identifies financial discrepancies by comparing multiple reports and analyzing actual results with forecasts.
• Preforms Customer billing audits
• Creates and review Customer Financial reports, bank files…etc.
• Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data through adjustments submitted to the finance department.
• Maintains excel database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
• Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses, studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
• Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications and macro's
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Security Requirements
