Premier Martial Arts is hiring a Part Time Instructor for our location in Buckhead Atlanta!

We are looking for someone who has a passion for changing lives through daily martial arts instruction. Someone who is outgoing, leadership driven, loves working with kids, can not only teach but, inspire others to be the best version of themselves.

Responsibilities

• High Quality Customer Service with the students and parents
• Lead and assist in Providing A+ Quality, High Energy, educational class Martial Arts Instruction.
• Follow PMA Curriculum, Class Planning & management; also conduct new student intros and orientation.
• Record Student's Progress through progress checks, stripe and belt testing.
• Work at Events/Trades shows, Festivals, Community events, Churches, Partnerships, Birthday Parties, Parent’s Night Out; distributing marketing materials.
• Assist with sales and administration; Maintain high member and sales level support through sales, point of sale transactions, scheduling, phone calls, studio cleaning, belt testing, and belt ceremonies.
• Maintain ongoing records of belt advancement for students.
• Maintain high student attendance, through engagement with students and parents (appts, calls, one to ones).
• Must be actively involved in GROWING our business!

Time and Transportation Requirement

• This position will start as part-time between 10-15 hours a week. With outstanding performance, hours may increase over time to between 30-35 hours/week. For those with less free time, less hours are an option.
• Current schedule- Mid-shift – Most hours will be between 12-4 Mon-Fri and Sat 9-3. However, some evenings during the month are required. Again, this will start as parttime; flexibility is important.
• Must have own transportation to get to and from work, schools, events, booths, etc.

Qualifications:

• Prior Martial Arts TEACHING/INSTRUCTION experience is required; current senior or head instructors encouraged to apply; At least 3-5 years prior teaching experience is desired,
• Organized-Self Starter, flexible, positive can-do attitude, willingness to learn, engaging, willingness to create interest and excitement for students- both kids and adults; Most of our schedules and classes are for kids ages 3- teenagers.
• Customer first mentality; professionalism is a must.
• Online/ social media marketing experience; basic computer skills.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
