Logistics Operations Coordinator

Job Summary
The Logistics Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting logistics across Oldcastle APG with a focus on, but not limited to, carrier compliance, technology and training. The position will coordinate with internal and external parties in support of driving efficiencies and ensuring quality across all logistics services.
Job Location
- This position is onsite, and this person needs to live in Atlanta, GA.
Job Responsibilities
- Onboard and maintain contracts and insurance compliance for third party carriers
- Weekly reporting of carrier onboarding volumes and stats
- Support and maintenance of logistics technologies with a focus on ensuring data integrity
- Assist locations with load board and carrier sourcing opportunities
- Lead/support logistics projects and initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related concentration preferred
- General knowledge of or willingness to learn carrier compliance requirements
- Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with key stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with strong prioritization and time management skills; must be able to work within tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to prepare and analyze data, communicate electronically , and assist in the preparation of documents and presentations
- Willingness to learn various programs and software to enable scalability and ability to create efficiencies across functions
- Office environment with occasional site visits to manufacturing locations
- May require availability outside normal business hours
- Some travel may be required
