MissionHires is recruiting a Contractor Sales Market Manager on behalf of an independent, family-owned lumber and building materials dealer in Winder, GA. This relationship-driven sales leader will drive contractor and builder market growth, mentor the outside sales team, modernize sales processes, and partner directly with ownership on strategy, pricing, and profitable expansion across contractor, multi-family, production builder, and light commercial segments. This role offers visibility with leadership, uncapped earnings potential, relocation assistance, and the opportunity to shape long-term business impact.

How You'll Contribute

• Develop and manage relationships with contractor, builder, multi-family, and light commercial customers to generate sales of construction supplies and related categories
• Identify and target prospective customers using building permits, referrals, personal networks, and market research
• Lead, mentor, and manage outside sales representatives; coordinate with inside sales/support on stock and special orders, estimates, and follow-through
• Partner with operations management to ensure safe, efficient yard operations aligned with sales needs
• Collaborate with the Office Manager on accounts receivable processes and credit management for builder/contractor accounts
• Maximize customer contact coverage and sales effectiveness across outside and inside sales teams
• Work with ownership/leadership on pricing, margins, purchasing needs, and inventory decisions
• Assist store management with general operations as needed
• Participate in strategic planning and market development with the management team
• Uphold company mission, culture, and policies; model professionalism and integrity
• Support sales process improvements, CRM adoption, and technology utilization to modernize go-to-market
• Drive market development initiatives and capture emerging opportunities in targeted segments

What Makes You a Great Fit

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the lumber and building materials (LBM) industry
• Proven contractor sales and business development experience with builders, contractors, multi-family, or light commercial accounts
• Leadership experience coaching, mentoring, or managing sales teams
• Strong working knowledge of lumber and building material products
• Ability to deliver persuasive sales presentations to individuals and groups
• Strong communication, relationship-building, math, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally (sales, operations, purchasing, AR)
• Understanding of pricing strategy, margin management, and profitable growth levers
• Comfort with technology, spreadsheets, CRM tools, and modern sales approaches
• Willingness to work a variable schedule, typically Monday–Friday with weekends as required (minimum 45 hours/week)
• Emotional maturity, professionalism, integrity, and a collaborative leadership style
• Ability to relocate to or commute to Winder, GA (relocation assistance available)
