Journeyman Operator (Lima) (FORECASTED)
What You Will Do:
As a Journeyman Operator (Lima), you will support 24/7 mission operations by providing signals analysis and translation services in support of SIGINT airborne ISR geolocation operations. In this role, you will contribute to real-time intelligence collection and translation tasks, while also mentoring junior operators and supporting broader mission analysis efforts. Key Responsibilities:- Support 24/7 mission operations performing signals analysis for SIGINT airborne ISR geolocation missions
- Conduct scanning, sorting, and categorizing of foreign language materials
- Recover essential elements of information and produce translated products
- Perform quality control of translated intelligence products
- Compile and update operational working aids and mission databases
- Draft intelligence reports and provide document exploitation support
- Conduct target development and network analysis
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior SIGINT airborne ISR operators
- Experience conducting signal collection and/or directional finding operations
- Proficiency in cryptologic language processing and SIGINT analysis
- Ability to mentor and lead junior personnel in operational environments
- Strong attention to detail and quality control in translation and reporting
- Willingness and availability to support rotating 365/24/7 operations
- Four (4) years of experience in cryptologic language processing and/or related cryptologic functions
- Formal training and/or demonstrated proficiency at Skill Level 2 in audio translation as a linguist in one or more defense languages
- Current government-issued certifications in basic and passive geolocation for airborne ISR operations
- Must possess an active TS/SCI with appropriate Polygraph to be considered for this role
This position is contingent upon a contract award.
