Scope:

The primary purpose of this position is to support the accounting and finance team in all tax (income, sales/use, other local) and banking and treasury accounting functions of the organization. This position is responsible for applying policies and procedures in the timely handling and processing of cash receipts and disbursements of the business, as well as the cash needs of global operations. This position also has responsibility for coordinating quarterly and year-end tax work with key accounting employees.

Summary of Position:

This individual will play a key role in accounting and finance functions, including monthly close, and financial statement production. This role will interact with multiple departments and areas of the organization to explain and maintain financial statements according to International Financial Reporting Standards.

Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the cash management and reconciliation of wire transfers, ACH payments, check payments to meet financial obligations.

• Provide cash management support and guidance for all subsidiaries
• Handle daily operating issues related to banking and treasury. Partner with our current banking provider
• Ensure bank accounts for daily cash management are adequately funded, all transactions are processed with 100% accuracy, and all accounts are reconciled and balanced
• Prepare any and all necessary banking information for journal entries and analysis
• Prepare and distribute the daily, weekly and monthly global cash position of the North American organization
• Oversee all merchant service administration and reporting
• Facilitate compliance with internal and external controls, policies, and procedures
• Coordinate with various controllers and company s 3rd party tax and audit firm for timely completion of tax provisions to meet group audit deadlines
• Coordinate the preparation of federal and state income tax returns and quarterly estimated tax payments
• Resolve issues with tax authorities and other third parties as they arise
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of major tax law, regulations and guidelines and communicate changes
• Coordinate with company s 3rd party tax accountants to streamline tax reporting process

• Help coordinate the implementation of tax planning and saving strategies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in accounting, CPA preferred
• Previous experience with tax provision, compliance preparation, and tax research
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• ERP system experience
• Working knowledge of financial principles and treasury
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strict attention to detail, highly organized and efficient
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a team player
