DELTAMED Medical Transport is seeking skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) to join our team. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in various settings. This is a critical role that requires quick thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans
- Administer basic life support interventions, including CPR and airway management
- Administer medications under medical direction
- Monitor vital signs and document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Assist with safe and timely transportation of patients to medical facilities
- Maintain medical equipment and ensure operational readiness at all times
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
Qualifications & Experience:
- Prior experience as an EMT or EMR is required
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Experience in emergency room or critical care settings is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of basic life support protocols
