Wildlife control technician / Salesperson (Crocodile Dave)

We at Crocodile Dave are a small team of service minded professionals who have been building a deeply loyal customer base since 2000. The demand for our service keeps our techs busy and well paid. We are looking for a star wildlife technician to help with sales, warranty renewals, trap checks and small patch jobs. You must have general carpentry and construction experience, and be comfortable working in high areas on a ladder, or confined areas such as crawlspaces. Experience with wildlife exclusion or construction is required. Will train promising candidates with pest control experience.

Required skills :

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Physically capable of performing the following job duties; using a 32ft ladder, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs all day crawling in confined spaces, and the ability to work in various weather conditions

• Must be Organized and self-motivated

• MUST have experience in the wildlife control, construction or pest

• Valid driver’s license

• Able to pass a drug screen, background, and driving record check

• 2 year degree in wildlife biology, Entomology, Forestry, Construction or wildlife sciences, Military or Job Related experience is also accepted in leu of degree.

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills· You must be driven to succeed. You will be required sometimes to make cold calls and to visit local businesses to promote awareness and build relationships. Sales goals are set by the company and measured, so meeting assigned sales goals would be a requirement. This position will require that you enter and examine home crawl spaces, attics and basements on a daily basis. If this sounds like a recipe for success, Then you may be the perfect candidate !
