Desired Qualifications:
- Active state Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience with pediatric populations or within school environments preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Comfort collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
What You'll Do:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation on student progress and services provided
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom
- Provide expertise and guidance to families on home-based language enrichment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of comprehensive support systems for students
